Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (920) 572-2437. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Its Google rating is 3.6 out of 5 from 32 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would! He was supposed to change out my oil pan, but left me with a LEAKING oil pan and a BROKEN EXHAUST MANIFOLD. Now my vehicle has thousands of dollars of repairs that need to be done! DO NOT USE THIS GUY FOR REPAIRS. He started off as genuine, but totally screwed me over! BEWARE!

Fixed my valve cover gasket then never reconnected my engine air mass plug .. I had to unplug the other side and plug it back in to fix the rest of the problem. He’s very horrible at timing management. Says he will be somewhere at a certain time then has you waiting all day to just come look at it . Personally I will not be returning.

I had a fuel sending unit break while down to the Appleton area on a Saturday to do some shopping. Home is 200 miles away in a different state. I called Appleton Affordable Auto. Dwight came, diagnosed the problem. I offered to have my vehicle towed to a shop. He said don't waste the money and he would replace it right on the spot at a local parking lot. He repaired it on the spot with the best work ethic I've seen in a long time. Even when it didn't want to come apart, he didn't give up and stayed focused to get it done. Price was very reasonable for an emergency Saturday repair. Super fast service too. If I have any other vehicle repairs needs in the Appleton Area he is my only call.

Dwight is a scammer. He requires a deposit. Then waste hours doing absolutely nothing. Disappears on the job claiming "family issues". Then out of the blue will threaten you for more money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM!

I hired Dwight Perry to fix the valve cover gasket on my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. He showed up the first day and then had to leave as he said he had a family emergency. He showed up yesterday 3-7-2021 and messed around a bit. Worked on the other guys van and said he had to return the part on the van and Robbie was coming to take a bolt off the Trailblazer. He never came back and he took the valve cover gasket, the intake gasket, spark plugs and the pcm for the Trailblazer. He also took the other guys part for the van which the other guy paid for. Thought we were helping him keep his business but found out he lost it and is just going to houses to do the work. Or steal what he can. Don't let him near your vehicle he will take what he can. Will get ahold of the police department and press charges on him today. If Dwight Perry Jr or Robbie who works for him then if you let them eat your vehicle you'll lose a lot of parts as he's a thief!!!! I turned him in to the police and the BBB and he texts me threatening me with a gun. Sorry I ever ran into this low life thief!!!!!!
